January 2006, OutSmart360 at Doing Business in India Conference

OutSmart360 was recently invited to a conference organized by NIMA in Norway to provide insight on setting up and doing business in India.

NIMA is the Norwegian Association of Purchasing and Logistics, and had recently organized a two day work shop on "Negotiating Effectively with Suppliers in China and India ". NIMA was founded in 1915 as the world's first association of logistics and materials management.

"Through our evolution cycle, I hope Norwegian companies got some insight on how to effectively set up and project-manage operations and suppliers in India. India is a diverse country with wonderful people, and it’s a very valuable experience to understand how to work with India in a cultural perspective" said Venkat Ramana, who was invited to do a quick table-talk on these issues.
