Barcamp Bangalore 9 – Logo Design Contest Entry

So like we promised all of you, we’re done with our logo for BCB9 and we are just done submitting it. The year 2010 has been an eye opener for technology enthusiasts with the arrival of super smart phones and of course, QR Codes!
QR codes are simply 2-D barcodes that can be read by mobile devices like the iPhone, Android and Nokia phones with barcode reading software. We’ve been following these little ugly blocks of black and white for quite some time now and we found the perfect opportunity to put together two things we love : Technology and Design on one platform! So here you go, Barcamp Bangalore 9, our logo design entry

One of the coolest things about QR codes in a logo is that scanning QR codes is actually fun. It’s every designer’s orgasmic moment when they can see people actually engaging with their logo and this is what we’ve tried to achieve.
Also, who doesn’t like Eureka moments?
