HOLY COW ! Literally !

September 15th, 2011 by admin

The day had come when we had to celebrate our Scandinavian interns’ birthday. As always, when OutSmart360 is celebrating birthdays weird things were bound to happen but as James says “Nothing at OutSmart360 happens by coincidence”.

Birthday Event at Outsmart360

The cow got so scared after seeing Emil that it pooped !

At around 3 PM, James comes running into the office looking surprised and says “Hey, there is a temple cow outside the office”. In India it isn’t really hard to find cows in the streets but you don’t see decorated temple cows every day. Our intern, Emil who had been fascinated by all the cows on the streets was very happy to finally get one on one session with a cow. :)

While all of us expected Emil is to be scared looking at the overly decorated cow, it was the cow which pooped upon seeing our huge Viking import!

Emil dismissed this as another day in India, only to come out of the room to see everyone standing with a huge Mango cake. The guys at Amma’s Pastries found it cumbersome to write Emil Plagborg-Møller, so they shortened it to “Emil Pla……., damn, your name is too long!” :p

Office Event at Outsmart360

This is how you look when you’re surprised by an entire office with a birthday song and a birthday cake!

It was a really well decorated mango cake with an awesome taste. Emil has a big weakness for this local mango drink so we thought it would be good. And we were right!

Our Scandinavian intern had made lots of fun about the fact that all Indians have moustaches. So we gave him a t-shirt so he could get inspiration for which moustache he can grow himself. He was still licking his fingers after eating cake the Indian way (with your hands).

Yummmm!!! Finger licking Good!

Of course a hard day of work and a birthday equals beer. So we drove to the nearest bar and continued until we had to go home. In India all bars close at 11.30PM so you cannot stay out late. But that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun. And we sure had fun!

Madhav has been avoiding Emil ever since Arsenal got trounced by Manchester United, 8-2 !

Check out the video of Emil singing “Happy Birthday” in Danish ! Wahwahwah!

November 12th, 2010 by Rakshith

“Why, hellooow there, boys and girls!” (Stewie Voice)
Now before I start, I just want you to imagine me in a sharp tux, sporting heavily gelled hair, an evil grin with polished fangs to match going “Bleheh” every 5 minutes.
Why the build-up you ask? Well, I’m going to share, a story with you about Halloween, and [...]

Our Mexican Intern’s First Birthday in India!

November 11th, 2010 by Bennett

Date: 08.11.10
Venue: Outsmart 360 Office
Occasion: Dariela’s Birthday (Our Very Own Mexican Intern)
As I (Bennett Daniel) had successfully managed to evade being involved in any planning and organization for past birthday pranks (until now), the planning and execution of Dariela’s birthday fell upon my small and overburdened shoulders.
The anticipation of the prank had been [...]

The Festival of Lights: Part 2

November 7th, 2010 by Prateek

The Diwali celebration at our office was nothing short of spectacular. The office was all decked up and everything was there as promised – the food, the sweets and oh yes, the crackers. Everyone had turned up ethnic wear (except for Neil and Dheeraj, no sweets for you both) and took part in the celebrations [...]

The Festival of Lights

It’s that time of the year, when colors fill the sky and festivities literally explode!
Yes folks, Diwali’s here. Diwali is celebrated all over India for various reasons. Some celebrate it to mark the return of Lord Rama after vanquishing the demon king Ravana; and some celebrate it to mark the victory of Goddess Kali over [...]

Smile Ok Please – Move Over Playboy, Our New Calendar Is Here!

October 19th, 2010 by Ganesh

Trust us to come up with the wackiest of plans in order to bunk work. We even converted a sombre lets-take-a-photo-for-the-ID-card session into a major event featuring Rakshith ‘RaackuMuthu’ Ashok behind the lens and every other idiot in front of it.
The basic plan was to shoot two photos of each person in the room, with [...]
