Barcamp Bangalore 9- A Note To Mom Before We Hit The Bar

Nothing can be more exciting for a bunch of technology and design addicts than a league of extraordinary sessions at our very own Barcamp Bangalore. So all of us at Outsmart360 are going to be moving from the bar to Barcamp Bangalore 9 on September 18th 2010!

Hold on, this was supposed to be a note to mom, and my mom has no clue of what Barcamp Bangalore 9 really is. So let me try and clear up what Barcamp Bangalore is NOT and save ourselves some spanking at home.

Few things that BCB9 is not:

#1 Barcamp Bangalore 9 is NOT a drinking party

#2 Barcamp Bangalore 9 is NOT an offroading/camping/trekking/smoke-bad-things-in-a-tent event

#3 Barcamp Bangalore 9 is NOT an offroading/camping/trekking/smoke-bad-things-in-a-tent event with a drinking party included

Well mom, you’re probably asking me what Barcamp Bangalore actually is.

As usual there’s the Barcamp Bangalore 9  logo design contest that’s hotly being discussed, and you guessed it- we’re trying out! Nothing gets us more excited than a competition and we’re getting ready to prepare and send in our own fancy designs and logos!

For now there’s not much that’s out on what’s going to be happening at BCB9 , but we’ll share the excitement as and when we get to see it folks!
